Novelties presented in Sigep

This year, too, PreGel made
its presentation at Sigep with many new products.
Rainbow Barbie
gelato combined with the Barbie Fairytopia™ promotion was given great
importance. Rainbow Barbie gelato has been created specially for
children, both for its taste, and its composition and presentation. The
taste of strawberries and cream and the decoration made of crystals of
fruit juice make it irresistible.
Another theme that PreGel focussed on in presenting its novelties was
the Welness Gelato. This line of products keeps
the creaminess, freshness and naturalness of traditional gelato, but it
adapts, in its composition, to the needs of all those consumers who have
to follow a low-calorie diet. Yogur Light, Fior di Latte Light and the
two Arabeschi®, Chocolate and Alpine Strawberry, are used to make
low-calorie gelato (approximately 80 calories for 100 g), but with all
the goodness of gelato. All the gelato in the health line are enriched
with Beneo® prebiotic fibre (which help
assimilate calcium and ensure intestinal balance) and
sweetened with Splenda®, a sweetener of natural origin
derived from sugar with a very low calorie content.
PreGel then presented Happytorte®,
a brand new product, in fact it is the only semifreddo that can be kept,
presented and consumed at the same temperature as gelato. It is
completely without any hydrogenated vegetable fat, it is easy to prepare
and is ideal for creating personalized specialities for the shop window.
For the 2007 season, PreGel has boosted
its sprint line with new citrus fruit, sour cherry, apricot with
peach and pineapple yogurts as well as presenting FragolAnanas a
fresh and natural sprint with the tasty flavour of strawberry combined
with the freshness of pineapple and KIBA, a combination of cherry
and banana drawing on the great European success of a fruit juice.
The range of Fortefrutto® pastes
has been expanded with the new exotic tastes of Kalamansi, Guava Rosa
and Lychee.
The rich Arabeschi® range has
been extended with the new Ciocco Cocco taste, lots of coconut
drowned in a sauce with the intense taste of dark chocolate (perfect for
decorating gelato obtained with coconut paste to bring to mind the
“Bounty” flavour) with Raspberry Arabeschi® and Peach Orange
Arabeschi®, two rich sauces with a fresh and natural taste.
The family of bases features Base
Zefiro, a hot base without any hydrogenated vegetable fat with a
creamy structure and a warm and delicate taste, and Base Prontomix,
a complete hot base without any hydrogenated vegetable fat with the
taste of milk with a compact and creamy structure that is ideal for
creating personalized bases too.
PreGel presented Topping Mou, a
sauce with a rich and full taste, the new White Chocolate and Chocolate
Fillings, ideal for icing the surface of semifreddo, and Zuppi
Rum, Orange and Chocolate.
